The Armani Beach Residences at Palm Jumeirah, a collaboration between Arada, Japanese architect Tadao Ando and Armani/Casa, has won a major international award.
The project won Best Branded Residence at the annual Best of the Best awards from major luxury lifestyle magazine – Robb Report.
Armani Beach Residences at Palm Jumeirah was featured in the Real Estate category for its ‘beauty and pedigree’, making it the most desirable destination for high net worth individuals (HNWI) in the Gulf.
The luxury development was named as one of seven winners in the real estate category, sitting alongside Bob Dylan’s estate in Scotland – an English castle, luxury homes in New York and Massachusetts, an Italian ski chalet, and a beach house in the Caribbean.
“Armani Beach Residences at Palm Jumeirah represents a new standard for the high-end Dubai real estate market, helping to redefine the concept of ultra-luxury living in one of the world’s most coveted neighbourhoods. Brought together by Arada, this is the first and only time that Giorgio Armani and Tadao Ando have collaborated on a residential offering,’”

Designed by the Japanese Pritzker-Prize-winning architect Tadao Ando, with residences, common areas and amenities outfitted by Armani/Casa Interior Design Studio, Armani Beach Residences is setting new standards for ultra-luxury branded residences worldwide.
“The architecture at this wonderful location is designed to pursue a visual and experiential continuity between the interior and the seascape that surrounds the project, with the interplay of light and shadow helping to create a dynamic sequence from arrival through to the public areas and finally to each impeccable residence.”

Alongside its exemplary architecture and seafront setting, Armani Beach Residences is distinguished by a set of amenities spread over a 90,000 sq ft space, all designed and furnished by Armani/Casa.
This is the second accolade for Armani Beach Residences since the project launch in January 2024, after winning the ‘Waterfront Project of the Year’ at the 2024 Pillars of Real Estate Awards.
“Tadao Ando is an absolute master of architecture, with an unmistakable aesthetic style that comes very close to my sensibility.”

This year marks 36 years of Robb Report’s Best of the Best awards, a premier accolade with global recognition that spans 16 categories including fashion, cars, yachts, art, design, food and philanthropy.
Arada’s award win comes as Dubai’s branded residences are to overtake New York & Miami. As of July 2024, Dubai had over 71 branded residences in various areas, including Atlantis, the Royal, and Bulgari Lighthouse.
Currently, Dubai’s branded residences have a 70/30 split between hospitality and non-hospitality brands. By 2029, this ratio is projected to shift to 55/45.
