Regional specialist contractor for ground engineering and foundation construction Dutch Foundations has been appointed by Shamal Holding to deliver foundation works for The Dubai Beach EDITION Hotel and Residences. The project is a landmark beachfront resort and branded residences development at Dubai Harbour.

The scope of foundation works will be the works, piling and shoring, forming the structural foundation package that will underpin the development ahead of its main construction phase.

The appointment marks the latest collaboration between Dutch Foundations and Shamal. The contractor has an existing track record delivering specialist foundation and ground engineering works across the developer’s large-scale projects in the UAE.
Dutch Foundations previously delivered foundation works on the Dubai Harbour Residences, located near The Dubai Beach EDITION site, giving the team valuable site and ground-condition insight ahead of this latest appointment.

The Dubai Beach EDITION was developed by H&H and designed by RSHP (Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners), and is scheduled for completion in 2029. The project features the first EDITION Branded Residences in the Middle East and the brand’s first beachfront resort in the UAE. It includes 165 private homes across four low-rise pavilion buildings, 185 rooms and suites, set within Dubai Harbour’s seafront district.
