Further to record sales achieved in 2025 amounting to EGP 18bn the company is expected to increase this to EGP 30bn by the close of 2026 coupled with the support of new projects in Sheikh Zayed and New Cairo.
Waterway opened its first hotel in July 2025 in the North Coast with a capacity of 60 rooms and has plans to expand to 180 rooms by 2027. Inclusive of the land value the project’s investment totals EGP 2bn. Waterway has also purchased a hotel local to the Grand Egyptian Museum with 55 suites, this investment has totalled EGP 450m.

A hotel restaurant has also been planned further to the real estate developer purchasing an adjacent plot of land with an investment of EGP 100m. The scheduled opening aims for October 2026.
Additionally, the Waterway is set to commence its construction phase this year for a plot of land acquired in Greece to build a 60 room hotel under the ‘My Hotel’ brand, with total investments of €35m.
The Group is currently looking at investment costs to prepare for a 2027 construction commencement, for plans to enter the medical sector by establishing specialised hospitals. Their first project entails a women’s and children’s hospital with a target of 60 rooms.
