Real estate transactions in the Emirate of Ajman recorded 864 transactions in May, with a total value of AED 1.6bn.
Engineer Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Ajman Land and Real Estate Regulation Department, stated that the performance of the real estate sector during May reflects the continued activity in the market — particularly in property sales — affirming Ajman’s appeal to investors and the diverse opportunities it offers across various areas of the Emirate.
Omar added that trading volume accumulated to AED 1.3bn through 679 real estate transactions, mentioning that the Al Zahia district noted the highest sale value at AED 200m. Whereas the highest sale value in real estate development works reached AED 1.6m in the Al Zorah district.
Omar further mentions that May saw the registration of 128 mortgage transactions with a total value of AED 187.5m, with the Al Humaidiya 1 district capturing the largest individual mortgage was valued at AED 15.7m.
He implied that the Emirates City project was at the top of the list for the most traded major real estate projects, with City Towers and Ajman One trailing. Al Helio 2 topped the rankings with the most active districts, proceeded by Al Helio 1 and Al Zahia.
